IP Law Links

More links about Intellectual Property law I've seen recently... In this case the DMCA and Fair Use:

The CATO Institute (a libertarian think-tank) released a study panning the DMCA titled The Perverse Consequences of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (found this via /.). It's a policy analysis describing the DMCA as "anti-competitive" and discussing the effects of repealing it.

The Duke Law school's Center for the Study of the Public Domain has an informative comic book called Tales from the Public Domain: BOUND BY LAW?describing the changes to copyright and how this effects budding filmmakers. Rather than abstracts, it gives concrete examples and case law. (Found via Wired Blog Table of Malcontents)
