Every anniversary should have a theme. This year, btoblake and I went for "In sickness and in health". *cough*
Saw a few movies recently:
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest: I think Real Life (web comic) summed it up the best. It was good, it had good fights. It even had a kraken! It just didn't have an end. Sure, it was a good point to stop, a lull in the action.. But I paid for a full movie, darn it! I was quite irritated at it and could have enjoyed it far more if I had known it would end in the middle. So with that warning, so see it and enjoy!
Prairie Home Companion: Good, but odd. It's a slice of life type of movie. It has a plot... I guess. It's entertaining, kinda thoughtful, definitely interesting... But I'm not sure if it went somewhere.
The Devil Wears Prada: Great movie! Definitely better than I thought it would be. Funny throughout, even if I thought Anne Hathaway looked better in her normal clothes than some of the "fashion" clothes. Fun for all ages and sexes.
